Promoting Proxy Lists

A research work is being undertaken by the Proxies Lounge for the Yahoo and the Google groups which permit their members for posting the proxy sites. There are also various ways through which a proxy list or the site can be advertised.

For advertising the proxy lists and the proxy sites, the yahoo groups are considered as a best source. Advertisement can be done after joining this group and thus become a member. Within a short span of time after joining the member will be receiving more than 35000 subscribers.

The next group is Google which is also used by most people and advertisement can be floated without any cost. An average of around 25000 subscribers can be targeted. Here again after joining the group as a member, permission will be given within few seconds to advertise freely.

Many of the proxy lists demand for the members to posses a back link and some do not demand. It will not have any problem in both these type till the member sponsor his sites with huge lists. It is not better when the traffic is not heavy from the proxy lists to add a back link. The liking for this differs from the proxy owners. It is always better for the members to run a test in all these sites for the traffic flow and should decide further based on the demand.

The member should target for those sites which will have the middle age group. The other way to increase the traffic is to look into the accounts with many friends and to send bulletin messages to them informing about the proxy site. This will definitely increase the traffic and the target population can definitely be achieved.

It is always better to bookmark all the websites of promotion, links and forum threads that will be of much useful.
